Hi, I’m Simone! I’m a Masters-Level Social Worker. I have significant experience working with children and adolescents who need support with emotional regulation, school issues, and navigating the effects of trauma, and love working with this population. I also have experience working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, and strive to create a safe and validating environment for them to fully express and process through the difficult emotions that may come up. I work with individuals in late adolescence, young adults, and adults who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, other anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, career wounds, family challenges, burnout, and other situational symptoms and challenges. WORKING WITH ME I believe that a supportive therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect can be helpful to gain insight on emotional and behavioral patterns, decrease feelings of shame, identify values and strengths, and develop coping strategies to navigate life's challenges.I strive to create a nonjudgmental, warm, and culturally affirming environment where individuals can find a sense of relief from life’s biggest challenges and work towards their own healing.but view every client as a unique individual and will adapt my approach based on what they need. When appropriate, and if the client is comfortable with it, I also enjoy adding in some lightness and humor into sessions.
